Your bs every doctor is different. I don't care if you believe me or not you were not at my sons doctor's when he gave me the okay to feed him at 3 months were you ? no lol so idc I know what my son's doctor told me and that's all that matters.

You should probably get a new one then. I have had 3 kids and have never had any doctor give me the ok before 4 months at the latest. Do you know how many problems that could cause?

True. Yours must be an idiot then. Educate yourself before trying to argue with others!

Because your Dr is going to release medical info on your child to a stranger.

A baby's stomach isn't ready to digest solids at 3 months old. Technically, babies need nothing but breast milk or formula until 12 months old.

As a member of BG, I can't believe you wouldn't have researched this based on all the info available here to help you nor can I believe you are going to try to defend it.

I might as well write my last check and call it a day. I have become that age where I am too stupid and a teen knows more than me.

!!!!

Just because you do something and it doesn't hurt YOUR child, doesn't make it Okay. Some people THINK they can drink and drive. Just because they never got in an accident doesn't make it a good idea...

You're trying to say that the one pediatrician I ever heard of that said it was "okay" to give solids to a 3 month old, is smarter then all the ones suggesting 6-7 months AND all the woman here who have more experience and more children?

Maybe he meant you can try baby oatmeal or rice but still, I doubt it...

Yes her tummy is nice and full & now she's wide awake lol I can't thank you guys enough! I really do appreciate it.

Wic gives us 4 cans of formula that lasts a month, which helps A LOT. & bd usually buys an extra can. & the next time I get more is on the 3rd. so we thought she could last till today & he would go an knock it out before it was time for her next feeding.. but now I know to never to that again. haha

I hope they increase it as she ages, my son was eating 10 cans a month when he was a year old and WIC definitely didn't cover that many. GL and I'd say when you two have extra money stock up on formula.

Relatction is always an option for the future since you are low on money. I thought WIC gave more formula then you are getting? D:
Also, insurance companies now are required to pay for breastfeeding supplies. Pumps ect... Donor milk is an option to. Its free.

You can get donor milk on Human Milk 4 Human Babies. Go to FB, look them up and find the ones for your area. Example: "Human milk for human babies - Oregon"

You should post about your situation and you will find donors in your area to give you free milk. Many become long term donors. Good luck mama. Donor milk is all free 100% and if anyone tries to ask for money refuse. Donation are from kindness, not profit. Home made formula is an option as well but it can be cost-y in the beginning but once you start up, you only pay for the goats milk which is a lot cheaper in the long run.
