Idk...your son was named after somebody you admire, right? Anybody else besides your grandfather that you'd like to honor?

How about your other grandfather or one from your hubby's side?

My twins are both named after someone. Well, so is my son. Lol. I guess I carried that as a theme. Basically, don't give one a namesake and not the other.

I think I would skip that. Something about giving a new baby the name of a deceased baby doesn't sit right with me.

I like Matthew too! and also agree with the second part. Your giving one twin a name in honor of someone, maybe you could give the other one too. Just so there's not like a complex thing (i always worried my kids were gona have a complex about everything   lol) Ya no so ones not feeling like they weren't good enough to get named after someone...just a thought.

What about your husbands name or middle name? Or a name from his side? Since you are honoring your side with one maybe you could search for another from his side? You might be surprised at what you find!

I hear ya on the surprise of two. Lol. Hubs and I struggled for a bit with the girls. We picked 2 girl and 2 boy names before we got the gender so we were good by the time they did the sex screen.

I would have your husband pick a name of a guy that meant a lot to him for the middle name. You have your grandfather. Let him do the other.

Our son is Anthony Mitchell. He is after both our dads. Worked out because it flowed nice and it was a good compromise.

Lol his Dad's middle name is Allen. We BOTH think of Allen from the hangover haha. I guess we are picky?? Lol"</blockquote>

Yes. Yes you are! Lol. Does his first name HAVE to be Todd? Why not flip that to the middle name and choose Daniel as the first name?
