Middle name?! UGH! lol...

I want Alasdair...but my husband says it sounds old.... and so far anyone who has given an opinion says no... what is wrong with this name?! Opinions....

I am only one person so take what I say with a grain of salt but I have never cared for that name because to me it sounds pretentious. But you should go for what you like

I like Alasdair. My son has another variant of the name- Alistair. I like both though.

The S kind of sounds like a D when using the spelling Alastair... like Alas-dare....

I prefer it with a T. Definitely not a name for everyone... but I do like it.
