graco my ride 70

Do you have one? Did you use it for a newborn and did it actually safely fit the NB? It says 5 pounds, but im contemplating on getting a pumpkin seat or just that one since it will be the only carseat we need.


Also if you ERF how long did you EARF for and until what weight? I want to get 2 one for my 14 month old and one for our newbie.. TIA


My oldest kids have the graco natualis 3and 1 but the myride can be used all the way up until i need to put the child in a booster. I think it will save us mo ey in the longer run instead of getting a ERF and then another nataulis..

It's exactly the same as the MR65, just a higher weight. And those fit newbs great, so I'd say you're good to go.

Don't own one, just know

This. Its like the 65 I would have put my NB in a 65. So if the 70 is the same then yes I'd use it for a NB.

My daughter is 16 months old and we have the myride 70. Shes still RF and is 22 pounds. I'm not sure about how a NB will fit because we had an infant seat for her and got that seat when she was 9-10 months old. She seems to like it.

I wish it would've been available in our stores before I bought my son's chart air 65. I bought a convertible to use from birth but wasn't able to use it because his shoulders didn't come above the shoulder straps. Idk how low the smallest hole is on the myride70,.

I rear faced my daughter until she was almost 3 and only turned her around cuz she hit the weight limit at 35 lbs. We had a cheap seat with her.

we have the myride 65 for julia, she was in it as a nb and fit very snuggly in it, and she's now 28 months and still rear facing in it. here's her pic of her as a newborn in it:

I too, made a lot of mistakes when Christopher was in his seat as baby, but those head holder things are after market pieces, right? And was she slouching? It looks like the straps are above her shoulders/head making the chest clip too low as well.

No the head piece came with the car seat when I bought it. And no she isn't situated in there perfectly during this pic I had just put her in it right outside the hospital and still had to do some adjusting to get it fitting better. When this pic was taken I had simply sat her in there and clipped it together

Chart Air 65. According to the minimum height and weight for the seat, he was technically big enough, but his shoulders didn't come above the straps.
