Booster seat

At what age and weight should your child be in a booster seat?

it is different in every state. Here they just need to be 4 years 40 lbs. But I got a bigger seat just to keep her harnessed longer

Depends on the booster seat, I think the ones with just the bottom and the ones with the backs on them have different requirements.

My children are almost 7 and 4 1/2 and both are still in full 5 point harness carseats. I'm in no rush to switch them, even though it would be more convenient, lol

LOL. Is this true? My DS is 4 but only weighs 32lbs. He'll probably be in a carseat til he's 6.. The little smurf just gain weight to save his life.

My daughter is in a 5 point harness. She's almost 4 and a little under 40 pounds. Some dumb bitch on Facebook (who has NO children) is arguing with me that she NEEDS to be in a booster seat. Ridiculous.

for IN it is. DD is only 30lbs and is 4 too. There is no way I could put her back there with just the seat belt not harnessed

I wouldn't rush, I find the carseats safer.

Exactly! She hasn't out grown the seat yet so I plan on keeping her in it for as long as possible.

And woooo yay for June babies! Don't worry I'm a creeper too lol
