Officially Mom of 2 allergy kids

posted 28th Feb
Natalie got allergy testing Monday and yesterday...Thankfully ONLY both parts of eggs were positive...we knew about those from the ER trip in January...relieved she isn't as bad as her sis who is allergic to many foods...

Aw, I'm sorry

My daughter has allergies and asthma, and it's such a pain in the butt. I feel so bad for her when she has reactions/flare ups.

Luckily my son doesn't seem to have any, and hopefully my next baby won't either, but it all runs in the family so who knows.

How old is she?

My son's egg allergy seems to have subsided.

Natalie is 14 months...the allergist said that because it is her only allergy she is more likely to grow out of it...her sis is 4 and is less likely due to the number of allergies.

Yeah, especially because its an egg allergy. Make sure you don't give her the flu shot.

That's the weird thing...she got it in December and only got a fever, allergist said he had no idea other than the shot may have activated the allergy? Is it possible for an allergy to be dormant?

I don't know but my son had it for the first time when he was 10 months and he started to break up at random times. At some point it was bad and he had to be put on steroids for 10 days because the hives and swelling wasn't going down with benadryl.
