I am going to purchase a full curriculum. It just isn't for me to piece it all together. We are using Heart of Dakota's Little Hands For His Glory, along with Horizon math, 100 Lessons to read, A Reason For Handwriting...and whatever else I'm forgetting at the moment. HOD is a christian curriculum, but there are others that aren't.

It is really interesting, the website has a breakdown of each grade from 1-8, and they have a "Create Your Own Curriculum" option which is interesting.

Ohhh a mixture of classical and Charlotte Mason. That's right up my alley! That's the combination of the one we've selected as well, now I need to go look at this when I have free time!

I don't home school (yet) but my mother finds some of the most reputable text books and uses them. For example she was explaining to me she uses a math textbook that has 12 chapters (like 200+Pages) and has 3 lessons per chapter, so they do one a week roughly and get it done by the end of the school year. She home schools 2 children.

I found some but I have no clue how to pick one. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a premade curriculum just to find that it doesn't work well for him.

On baby community or whatever its called they have a section just for home schoolers. I bet you could receive more help there. Also, I've found pinterest to have tons of great project ideas!

Maybe spend the summer doing little things to try to discover what his learning style is. Also, homeschoolreviews.com has great reviews on curriculum.
