Infant Clothes??

How many outfits should I have for a newborn? What exactly should I have? Its hard because I dont know how big he will be when he is born so I dont know if he will be fitting into newborn size or 0-3month clothes. Ugh so frusturating.

I really only bought like 20 newborn onsies and sleeper zip up things in 0-3, and I didn't even need that much. I didn't have to start changing her clothes multiple times a day till about 5 months old.

he has to be really big to fit directly into 0-3 and completely skip nb. my daughter was 8lbs 3 oz when born and wore nb size for 2 months. i woulld say have about 4-6 nb outfits and then maybe like 7-10 outfits in other sizes. my daughter always had wayyyy to much clothes and half the time never wore some and thinking about it now of i were to have another child thats the amount of outfis i would buy

Unless you are expecting a huge baby (over 10 lbs) I would make sure to have at least some NB clothes. How many is hard since babies will poop/pee on or spit up on clothes at varying rates, but to be on the safe side 3 ish outfits per day (for however many days you want to not do laundry).
My daughter was 8lbs 9oz at birth and wore NB clothes until she was 6 weeks old.

Its hard to say since usually after being born they lose some weight and then gain.
Just get what u like or free/used clothes. Mine wore newborns for maybe a month.
