Had my ultrasound today...

Chunky baby BOY still lol. Decided on the name Elijah Luis. He's a spitting image of his brothers already : ) and super flexible - he had his foot in his face pretty much the whole time.

And a question; the last time I had an u/s was right at the beginning of my 16th week. Today the tech was taking measurements and stayed in one spot for a very long time, not recording the whole time, she just kept looking at whatever it was from all different angles and her face was pretty serious. When she finally got to the part where I was allowed to watch, she still kept going back to the heart/abdomen area and counting and staring, literally every 30 seconds or so. Would that concern you a little bit? She was just a tech, and the results go to the radiologist & then to my dr so it will be a few days at the least before I know anything. I just can't shake the weird feeling from it.

They do that. Theyll often go back and forth just to make sure everything is functioning properly. So they don't miss it if something becomes irregular or abnormal.

It's just the first time I've ever noticed it. Maybe because this time I was by myself so it was different for me. She's the same tech who's done all the scans for my last two pregnancies, we used to always chat during. This time she was just super serious. Maybe she was having an off day lol. I think too much.

It could be... idk, my fetus's heart is fine but she still went back & kept looking & measuring cos she wanted to get a really good pic of it I guess...? & awww those pics are so cute!!! I have an U/S where she has her foot by her face too! oh that reminds me, you never accepted me on FB woman!

They did with my son and he's perfectly fine! So no worries! If they didn't have a dr come in and talk to you or call you I'd bet you're fine too.

I don't have FB anymore. Too much bullsmurf with BD and his family, not even just the ones that live here, the one's in freaking PR too -_- I got tired of dealing with it and it was just too damn many people to block individually. When things settle down I'll get back on and make it public again. For now the one I have is just for my family to see pics of the kids and such. I go on just to post pics and that's it.

oh, I never said this but we changed her name a little while ago haha. it's Mila now. unless she comes out & I'm like, 'uhh no.' lol

Mila what? Still pretty though : ) Kinda like how he went from Xavier to Elijah today lol.
And it's ok, me and him are pretty civil now, his family just likes to think they know best and that if they bug me enough I'll just drop and it all and we'll become this big happy family again lol. Nah.

Oh, & Estelle. Honestly I'd rather do Maxine but I don't think he likes it (what a surprise  ). I like both of those names!! I do prefer Xavier but hey, Elijah is still great too

Mila Estelle is pretty too! Though, I think Cataleya Estelle would have been a beautiful name for her : )
I'm biased to Cataleya haha.
I was having such a hard time settling on a middle name for Xavier, nothing really stuck for me. And after I saw him today Xavier just didn't feel right.

I like that too! I highly doubt SO is going to budge on the first name though... (he picked out Mila). I said yes because I do like it... & it was the only good one he came up w/, lolz. I don't think Cataleya would flow as a mn though w/ Mila  

& I know what you mean... okay, you have more than one kid so I'll ask you... when you found the name, did it always 'click'? Or just sometimes? Like, when we decided on Rocco's name, it definitely clicked. I haven't really felt that way w/ this one...

Nah, I agree with you. Cataleya doesn't really flow with Mila.
Sean clicked right away, before we even knew he was a boy. Aryana we debated back and forth with for months. It took a while to get used to it. Emanuel was like Sean, we picked that as our boy name pretty much as soon as we found out we were pregnant, and when I saw his face it felt right. I thought I had my heart set on Xavier, but when I saw him for some reason I walked right out of that room saying Elijah. Beats me why, since Elijah wasn't even a name I had considered this whole time.

that sounds kinda like me... if this one would have been a boy, we already had a name picked out & I already know it would 'click.' I guess girls are just more difficult...? idfk, haha.
