She latched!!!

We've been working on getting DD transitioned back to the boob because she had jaundice and they supplemented her with the bottle. Since then, she wouldn't latch... I've been trying and trying to get her there and pumping my dang boobs off! Well i just got really engorged, DH went to work, DS started going insane, and just as I'm about to go pump, Haddie wakes up and starts crying. I'm also in terrible pain from my c-section because I forgot to take my pill. Needless to say, my patience level was waning. So I thought I'd try one more time to latch her or else I'm going to be in terrible pain not being able to pump for a while. And what do you know?!?! After only a few minutes of getting mad at me, she latched!!!! She's been on the boob for like 10 minutes now like a pro!

So exciting! Congrats momma!

Super exciting!!!! Now just keep offering those boobies, all the time. Even if she is not acting hungry. Son #3 went through a nursing strike when he was 3 months old. I literally camped out at home and offered the boob every 20 minutes. It was rough but we got through it.
