What the poop? MAybe TMI

Ok so earlier I had to use the restroom. I was able to get a little out and after about 30 minutes had no luck. It was still there but couldn't come out. About 30 minutes later I tried again and after some pushing I got a large hard ball out. It looked like there was a string coming out of it. Which I have never noticed before. I couldn't get anything else out and still feel like I may need to go. Now I'm kind of concerned about the string. I know I haven't ate anything that looks like it.

are you sure its not mucus? Sometimes when you poop it gets covered in mucus and will come out looking like a sting. I've had it happen before. Where i didnt go for two weeks. It got stuck and I pushed it and it was just rock solid. I hope it gets better. Drink LOTS of water and maybe get a stool softner

I have no idea honestly. I've gone regular until today. I'm downing some water right now.

this! or do you have pets? could be a worm?

It could have just been your own hair. It happens lol.

No pets but you throughly freaked me out!  

It's normal for your poop to get mucus in it, esp if you've been constipated.
