Really needs advice

So to start off ,if your having a early period is the cervix high and closed? My last period was on 2-2-13.On Sunday I started a early light flow period with some clots.Yesturday I was told to the E.R. last by my OB's answering being it wasn't the norm for me.I was giving a pelvic exam and my Cervix is high and closed.negatives urine test and no labs was done.Does anyone if the cervix closed during bleeding?I can't see my on until Monday so this is driving me crazy!I should have started March 2nd so I'm way early.please help!
