Off his food.

G'day, my son is 12 and has, for the last few years, eaten like a horse. Kind of expected at his age lol.

3 weeks ago he went back to school after being home schooled for a year and.. for some reason his eating has really dropped off, he said he doesn't feel sick or anything, he just isn't hungry.

He's been liking school but is a bit bummed that he hasn't made any friends (which hurts my feelings as well tbh, he's a great kid).

Anyone had their preteen go from eating like a horse to just.. not? It's freaking me out a little at this point.

Posting and running, I have to get to school myself  .

My cousin (who's pretty much a brother to me) is 14 and has recently went through this. His is more because of wrestling and getting to a certain weight class but a lot of guys in his class do this too. Completely normal. Oh, and fwiw, I did the same thing my junior and senior year due to volleyball. Working out and doing more instead of being coupe'd up made me less hungry.

I thought he'd be hungrier doing more, but that's a good point. He's really skinny as it is, so I'll keep an eye on his weight still and see how he goes, thanks!
