What is your ideal age gap with your kids?why? My daughter will be 3in in october thinking about ttc this summer. If i were to get pregnant rmy kiddos would be 3.5 years apart. Wondering if this would be a good spacing? My brother and I were 3 years apart and grew up super close. Would love to hear it from a parenting standpoint though...

My daughter will be 2.5 exactly when this baby gets here and i think that's perfect for me  

Me and my sister are 3 years apart and my sister and my brother are 3 years apart. My sister and I were bestfriends, we hardly ever fought. I think 3 years is perfect. I always wanted my kids to be 2-3 years apart, but it didn't work out that way. They will be 4.5 years apart. Oh well, I think my daughter will be old enough to be able to include her in a lot with the baby. She is so excited!

when i was in kindergarten i told everyone about my new baby sister. she's 5 years younger and were very close haha

There are 4 years, 1 month and 5 days between Addy and Asher. We planned it that way so that she'd have solid time with us, then introduce a new baby after she started school. She is excellent with him and has not shown one bit of jealousy. She truly loves this little fat man.

I do not think there is an ideal.

It completely depends on what's right for your family.

My brother and I were very close, we were 2 years apart... but DD is going to be 4 1/2 when this baby is born, and it's awesome because of how much she understands and is excited about having a sibling.

Our oldest two are 13 months apart. Middle and youngest are 3 years 9 months apart (4 years 10 months between 1 and 3) I personally think 3 is far enough. Our 5 year old doesn't seem to play with our 6 month old near as much as our 4 year old does.

Idk what the 'ideal' age gap is, but from experience, I have 3, all about 2 years in between them. Right now, they're all at home with me every day, and it is very hard dealing with all of them 24/7, but I am sure I will be happier with their ages as they get older. And I am glad they are close in age and can grow up together(I had a fairly big age gap with my siblings, they were so much older I may as well have been an only child   ).
I think a good age gap to shoot for if you want them to be close with each other is maybe 2-4 years apart. I think one year isn't too bad, but it is harder to have 2 babies as opposed to a toddler and a baby.

I have to agree 100% completely. When this one is born, either end of August beginning of September, DS will be turning 5 in December. He is ALWAYS asking about the baby and when we can go get him/her lol. It's the cutest thing ever.

DD is already asking what's taking so long... and we only told her this past weekend.

She is so excited it's adorable.
