When your kid is in THAT type of mood

posted 27th Feb
Makes me want to rip the hair out of my head and scream into a pillow....

Maxwell is being such a snot this morning. I went to the bathroom, put my hair up, got my glasses on, and then I usually go to make everyone some breakfast.
I asked both of them what they wanted and gave them choices, Skye chose waffles. Max said he wasn't hungry and he did not want anything. Okay, whatever. I am used to him not wanting to eat a big breakfast.
So I get Skye and myself all settled down to eat and he comes up to me and gets a few inches from my face and starts being snippy
WELL I'M HUNGRY NOW AND YOU DON'T CARE DO YOU
I said you told me you weren't hungry so I took care of the people that were, if you want after I finish my toast I can make you something. Go in the kitchen and decide what you want to eat.
So he stomps his foot and starts crying and says he can't do it   sorry kid, you're 4.5 years old... you can't pull that smurf anymore. I have seen you make your own PB&Js.

So now he's stomping around the house pouting...
and I sit here and drink my coffee and eat my toast. *shrugs* I do not listen to children in bratty moods when they are capable of being nice and polite about it. I can see he is going to be in SUCH a snotty mood today. UGH

Hopefully he comes home from school in a nicer mood.

Sorry he's being a stinker, but (this is completely OT) I love his name!

Thank you
He does too lol He hates when people call him Max... he always corrects them to say Maxwell.

I realized every age up until 4 was a test for the sassyness and brattyness the rest of the ages comes with.

My child use to have those kinds of fits but he grew out of them, he's almost 5.5...

He still has them sometimes... I just started ignoring him because I feel like he only wants attention even if it's negative.
