I don't want to take him to the ER

DS was perfectly fine throughout the day and out of nowhere he got 100.8 fever so I gave him Advil and gave him a bath (this was at 11) he fell asleep right after, out of nowhere he wakes up screaming bloody murder, shaking with a 101 fever, it's 2am now and I gave him pediacare, idk if it was ok to give it to him or not "/ I know his fever isn't high, but like i said he was screaming bloody murder with this horrific face expression and he was shaking, this is the first time he gets sick, so I'm freaking out!

nothing sucks more then seeing our kids sick, epecially if this is your first time.

keep a cool cloth on his head, loose clothes and blanket. I would not take him to the ER...the fever will make him better.

It sounds like he had a nightmare   If it keeps going higher you should take him in, try to keep him cool and give him Tylenol

When you can I would give some tylenol. Try stripping him down to just a diaper and keeping it cool in the room, with a fan on him or something. DS had a spell like that a few weeks ago, just came out of no where for no reason at all. We let him cool off and just play around some and he was fine.

He woke up with a stuffy nose too, I just gave him pediacare since I gave him advil about 4 hours ago, and put vicks on his feet, he fell asleep about 10 mins later, I really hope he feels better
