Having a C-section due to big baby. Have to get a spinal block because the epi only numbs half of my body. How bad does the spinal hurt? Just while getting it. I'm a big sissy, and I like to know what I'm in for.

ive had tons of spinal injections in the last two years. although i havent had one while pregnant i can tell you from my own experience that they come with alot of pressure thats uncomfortable during the actual injection of the medication but no real pain during. the doctor should numb you first with a relatively thin needle then inject the actual medication. lots of unwanted pressure but no pain. hope this helps
