One side is not superior (studies have proved this) as long as you aren't flat on your back you are fine

I have to sleep on my right side most of the time. If I lay on my back or left my stomach and hips just hurt or I'm extremely uncomfortable.

what?

i don't even know what that means. i never had issues sleeping however i wanted with either of my pregnancies. these are some things i've found on one site, first from a dr. the others just from pregnant ladies...

"Of course, when you're sleeping you can't control what position you're in. If you wake up on your back, it's probably because your body was telling you to shift your position."

"I am a back-sleeper, so I asked my OB about whether or not it was OK to sleep that way when I was about 20 weeks since I started to get uncomfortable on my side. He said it's fine, to sleep however you are comfortable. He said that if it's causing you or the baby distress while you're sleeping, your body will wake up and you'll change positions."

"My OB/GYN says the maxim that you "can't sleep on your back" during pregnancy is an old wives' tale. She says that you ought to sleep in whatever way is most comfortable for you, from the first 'til the last month. If you're doing something constricting, your body will tell you, and you'll shift positions."

i've also read it on here a lot.

I've never had a baby wake me with movement either. Contractions have awakened me never movement. I've also watch kids crap out on the monitor and walk in and find mom laying on her back snoring. I wake her and roll her to the side and boom baby recovers. Mom never would have noticed had I nor been monitoring her
