Breast pain?

My left boob really hurts. My nipples are pierced but it's completely headed and looks/feels just fine.

I'm not nursing. It's not red or hot to the touch. It's painful to touch though. It started this morning between the edge of my areola and my boob and has traveled to the underside of my breast.

What could be causing the pain?
