Food items to stock up on

I have $400 I need to spend on groceries by Thursday so I'd like a list of non-perishable food items to put in my pantry.
So what are some thing you like to keep stocked?

I plan to stock up on the non-perishables and some meats then just buy fruits/veggies/dairy weekly.

Why do you have to spend it all? I would just get soups, mashed potato flakes maybe, rice, pastas

Why do you need to spend it by Thursday?

Is it food stamps?

I thought unused food stamps rolled over

Yes it's food stamps. It's the last ones we will get because of my new job we are over the income limit and my case worker said to use them before the 28th.

Noodles
Mashed Potato Mix
Baking Goods
Peanut Butter
Spaghetti/Pasta Sauce

Ill be adding these to my list, except I only use real potatoes for mashed potatoes lol

Foodstamps don't expire. Whatever you have left on your card will be there until you spend it.

oooh ok. just about any kind of boxed foods, like cornbread mix, instant stuffing, green beans, peanutbutter, there's tons of stuff.

They are cutting them off because of my new job.

They cut ours off last month because SO makes too much and they never expire, at least not in Oregon. Also cut of my tanf 2 months ago and I still have it on my card.

I know the feeling. I'm doing about the same thing, tbh. (but I don't have foodstamps...)

I know you said you only use real potatoes but there are some really good bagged ones like fully loaded or 3 cheese

Drink mix
Canned like spaghetti and meatballs like chef boyardi
Crackers
Cereals
Beans
Rice
Bread crumbs last a while f you have meats
Eggs
Canned veggies
Cheese
Those bags of different noodles
Soups
