another dentist/breastfeeding question

I went to the dentist last week for a cleaning and checkup and found out I have a cavity that I need to have filled next Wednesday. Anything they shouldn't give me considering I am breastfeeding? Or do I need to just wait to breastfeed after if they give me the anesthesia? TIA

It will just be a local and you are fine. Just mention to them that you are nursing.

You could wait, but if you tell them that you're breastfeeding, they'll figure out the best choice for you.

Ok thanks ladies. Only reason I was concerned is because I'm usually pretty hard to numb and he has to give me multiple shots. I don't wanna put it off only because it had been 3 years before I went last week so I don't know how long its been there. thanks

I had 3 teeth pulled within the first month of my daughter being born. I had to be numbed 5 times when they pulled two at a time. I came home and nursed.

Ouch!! I've never had any pulled, that sounds painful. I'll remind them but thanks, I'm less worried about it now
