re: H&R Block refund

My brother used TT.

We filed the same day.

He got his smurf back a week before I did.

I always use tax act and file federal for free and about 17.95 for state, but before I file i take my paperwork to Jackson Hewitt and make sure what they get matches what I get online.

Filed on the 14th and still waiting. I estimated before I filed with h&r block and turbo tax, I get back around $1000 more with h&r block and it was free when I filed online.

Ah I see, that sucks.

I think they're required to tell you it can take up to 21 days. They told us that too.

But them taking a grand out is ridiculous.

We're still waiting too. We were delayed due to myself being a student and now 3 weeks after it being said our tax returns were accepted, we're still waiting.

I had the student thing as well. Mine were accepted 2/15 and still waiting

Feb 11th. So technically it's been just under 3 week, but I assume we won't be seeing the return over a weekend.

It's frustrating. I know there was a delay and that's causing it all to back up. And it might seem like I'm just throwing a fit but it's so annoying.

I've been throwing a fit for a few days, I even called the IRS lol, they said next week sometime.
