Toddler car seat

I had bought the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 and the red button wont release. I have had to pull my daughter out twice now. I called Graco and did all the tips they had me try, didn't work.
So now I am taking the carseat back to the store I bought it from for store credit, but now I dont know which one to buy. My daughter weighs about 27bs and is 2 years old. Any suggestions? Price range $170.

How long ago did you buy it? I dont think you are supposed to return it to the store if theres a problem.... I think you are supposed to deal w the manufacturer...

Less then two weeks ago. Graco said I could either return to them or Walmart.

pretty sure its against the law for stores to accept carseats on return...I tried returning a seat that I had just got out of lay away so I could use a coupon I had. BRUs system wouldn't let them do it at all even though I hadn't left the store with it.

I have the evenflo 65 symphony car seat (convertible) and the cosco high back booster car seat. I like the booster the best. It doesnt have the anchor hooks, but other than that I like it the best. its more trasnportable if you take it out of the car a lot and not as bulky, making it easier for my son to get in.
however, the evenflo allows for rearfaced longer. with the cosco you cant rear face at all.

Well regardless of the way I return it I need some ideas on what I should get.

It doesn't help if you return it to Walmart because they don't sell it but I recommend a britax frontier. I found mine online for $200 so it's a little out of range but worth the money. I was going to get a Nautilus as well but ended up with the frontier, I like it much better.

Your best bet for the longest lasting seat for her would be the evenflo securekid 300 or 400 (about $120ish- can get online or possibly BRU) or the harmony defender (about $100 - only at walmart) if the nautilus didn't work for you. The evenflo maestro would also be a good option that's a bit cheaper. ($70-$80)
