Absolutely you can. When I went into labor with my older two kids, I didn't feel any pain or any real pressure with the contractions. Just the tightening.

I went to the hospital with contractions 2 minutes apart that werent painful at all but caused a lot of pressure. I walked in at 8 cm and delivered lass than an hour later!

I wouldn't describe my contractions before I was at the maximum dose of Pitocin (hour 15) to be very painful. It was uncomfortable and I could feel/see my stomach tighten, but it wasn't really painful.

This is exactly how I want my labor to go! LOL Wow, that's amazing. I assume you didn't need any pain meds or other medical intervention (pitocin, breaking water, etc.)?

It was wonderful!! Total labor was only 1 hr 46 minutes and I didnt need any time of assistance. I actually wanted an epi but couldnt get one and I am glad it happened that way.

My daughters was even better! I was already 5 cm and conyracting every two minutes but not feeling it so they broke my water and baby was delivered 36 minutes later!! I breathed through cobtractions and it was absolutely painless.
