Would you re-use a carseat that was manufactured in 2010? It's never been in an accident or anything. Just looking for opinions.

Sure, why not? As long as I knew it had never been in an accident and it hadn't expired.

If it was from the previous child then yes I'd use it, but if it was from someone then no

Did you check the bottom of it?
I was just thinking, you won't get much use out of it depending. But just check the bottom and you'll be all good

Check on the bottom of the seat. I have a seat that I purchased in '09 and it expires in '14, so I won't be able to re-use it.

The hospital wouldn't know. They're not techs.
All they make sure is if the baby is in a seat.

Anyway, you need to check the bottom of the car seat to see exactly when it expires.

Check the bottom of the seat to make sure it's not expired. It's simple.

People get really caught up with the whole "5-6 years" thing. When it really doesn't matter what the average is because every manufacturer is different.
The only way, is to check the bottom.

Yes, the bottom says is was manufactured in Oct 08.
There is no Do Not Use After date stamped but I looked on their site.
