Poison Ivy, help.

It's twice as bad as it was yesterday. I have no clue what else to do. I've tried Calamine lotion, Ivarest, home remedies, and Tecnu scrub.
I reallllyyy don't want to go to the doctor. (If I absolutely have to, I will)
But does anyone know of anything else I can try?

Oatmeal baths, witch hazel..

My husband gets it TERRIBLE and is covered head to toe within 2 days. He usually has to go to the Dr. to get a steroid shot, but the last time he couldn't because I think you can only get them so often. So we tried those and it soothes the rash, but I don't think it stops it from spreading. Wash everything that came in contact with the poison ivy.. shoes, clothes, anything. Try your best not to touch it and then touch other parts of your body. It sucks and it is so hard not to spread it because it spreads so easily.

My MIL works for an elementary school, and she showed the school nurse, and apparently, I need to go get a steroid shot.   I read your reply while she was talking to me on the phone, lol.
I have an appointment at 3. Boo.  

No fun!! At least it will stop the spreading and help it dry out quickly! Hope it goes extra fast for you! Lol
