Absolutely devastated
posted 26th Feb
Last friday, I went in for my first ultrasound. I was 6 weeks and 2 days. They couldn't find a heartbeat, or any blood flow to the baby, and the ebryo and yolk sack were long and skinny instead of round like they should have been. They told me I have a "missed abortion" and to come back in a week for another ultrasound. It has been 4 days, and I am still continuing to feel sicker every day, and there has been no sign of cramping or bleeding, or anything else that would suggest a miscarriage. If I haven't passed it by fridays appointment they want to discuss medication or a d&c. it is so not fair that I have tp still feel so pregnant when my baby is dead..

I know how you feel hun. It's hard to deal with. Just remember that it's nothing you could have prevented.

I'm sorry for your loss.
If you ever need to talk feel free to pm me. I had a blighted ovum last August. My doctor said that those are often also called "missed miscarriages" where your body doesn't acknowledge that the baby has passed and you continue to feel pregnant. I had pregnancy symptoms until the day of my d&c.
