Autism Q.

Iwas just wondering if this is "common" for autistic children.

DS had a problem with eye contact she engaging him since he was infant. Other than that he either hit his milestones on time or a little late then he just stopped. His speech regressed to almost non verbal and his other milestones were really late he just want hitting them. Since things were a year or more behind.

Is that common?

Yes. He's been in speech therapy since '11. He's doing out patient therapy once a week. Tomorrow he sees a neurologist that specializes in Autism and I'm filling out paperwork to send back to the developmental pedi so he can make an appointment for us.

so told me that the docs told him and his mom he had pretty severe autism but she pulled him out and called the doc nuts over all of it. he was severely depressed and he told her it was environmental. she was abusing him and he did without while she blew all her money on her youngest. his iq was tested around 160 when he was 7-8.
