Tubes clamped...the pill??

Posted this in another area but got nothing. Ok, I had my LO via emergency c-section in November and had my tubes clamped at the same time. I have had a few periods since then and they are horrendous! Major cramps, they last longer than when I was TTC, and heavier bleeding. Seriously considering going on the pill. Just wondering if anyone else went back on the pill after getting their tubes done just to regulate things??
