Agreed. We should take care of our own, immigrants and citizens alike, before we intervene in other countries.

That and government officials need to stop taking so many vacations. I get diplomatic reasons for visiting other countries but going on a ton of vacations is a waste of money and isn't helping anyone.

That and the state of North Carolina has seven vehicles at the governor's disposal. I think that is a bit excessive since only three out of seven vehicles are regularly used, yet here we are paying taxes to help keep these vehicles "on the road" so to speak.

Yeah well, that's expected of most people with a ton of money and power. Again, it's the mentality of looking out for yourself instead of your people as a whole that is the downfall. And a lot of other countries' governments are even worse.
