parents of multiples

so here i am making a baby registry on wal mart.com to pass the time while im watching my shows...

and i cant find crap. :|
im doing one for each sex... and im working on the girl right now and everything i pick im afraid DD will get upset about it :/

like i found a really cute play mat.. but its garden. and thats DD bedroom theme :/

or a princess bouncer... but DD loves princess's

does anyone in here have multiple kids? how did you do it with their stuff? i feel bad but the baby is going to need stuff :/

I don't have that problem dd loves to share everything with the baby anyway lol

we didnt have that issue until my 2nd was 6 months. at 1st my oldest knew only the baby could use the baby stuff and he was fine with it until his little brother got more and more interested in big brother s toys. now my oldest wants everything / think everything belongs to him and is having a hard time sharing, but we try our best to be fair and let them take turn when it comes to certain toys. it s not easy but thats life

like i know she will want touse the baby items.. but did you stay clear of things your oldest likes???

like DD nickname is bumblebee... so i dont want to get ANYTHING with bumble bees on it... and she likes mermaids and princess's so no fish, and no princess :/

or do you think it wont matter really

I have opposite genders...but every time we get something for DD, I tell DS (who is now 4), "you had one of these when you were a baby too!" and that seems to make him happy.

not really. we just get him whatever we want and explain to my oldest it s for his baby brother. but we tend to always get him something as well so he doesn't get too jealous.

I think you should get your new baby whatever you want whether it s princesses, mermaid or bumblebee. jealousy/sharing are part of growing up with a siblings. . she will then be 4.5 year old and understand what s her role as a big sister.
plus it might trigger jealousy at first but growing up they ll share the same interest
