Poll: Too early?

So I've been on two dates with this guy and he might have just told me he's fallen in love with me (and don't worry about him trying to get into my pants... he's already slowed me down because he "doesn't want to mess things up"). The funny thing is... I... might... feel the same way?? We've had an incredible time together like nothing I've ever experienced, but it just seems so... unlikely! Is it too early to be feeling like this? Any advice? I'm feeling a little crazy here...!

I say yes because

1 you said "might"
2 it's easy to be in love with someone you've had nothing but fun dates on. Let reality and real life set in where you have to resolve conflict, argue, experience stress together, to see if he's still so wonderful.

People feel things at different times. My SO told me he was falling for me after the first date. I didn't tell him I loved him until much later. So it is possible.

To me it sounds more like lust. He might continue to be amazing and you might fall in love, but I think it is hard to know someone enough to truly be in love with them that quickly. Obviously I am not you nor him so I can't really say what you are feeling.

Just as soon as he text me that I was like   OMG for at least 20 minutes. Total shock...

I would personally be skeptical if my boyfriend had said that so fast. I would think something fishy was going on, but I am naturally skeptical and my boyfriend isn't the most emotional human being so I haven't been in that exact position recently lol. Took him 7 months to say he loved me and even then he wrote it in a card and didn't say it lol

And I'm a realist... I'm not typically one of those who is some namby pansy and falls in love with the next guy she sees. I denied my feelings for my ex-fiance for eight months into that relationship! And I'm waiting for reality to set in. Luckily, we've got all the basics there... we want the same things out of life and are looking to go about it the same way. I just have trust issues, but I think they are also realistic trust issues... you know: if it seems too good to be true...?

Well idk how long you've been together but DH told me he loved me a month into dating. I literally told him "no you don't" everytime he said it for a few months. It's not totally crazy. When you know, you know though There's no guessing your feelings.

I think it is possible but I think that love grows and chances. It sounds like the new and exciting love but I think that only last so long and then changes to long lasting, I got your back no matter what love. (Which while not as exciting I think is 100 times better). I say just enjoy it, dont over think it and have fun

Yeah. It would make me think he's desperate.

Sometimes, when you know, you know. SO and I weren't together for very long when we were younger when I said it, and I even told his Mom that I was going to marry him one day, and we were going to have a family. And since we were only 17 at the time, she pretty much just laughed at me.

Then he went off to college in a different state and I just went through a miscarriage, but then when he came back, we found each other again, and here we are, a few years later, planning our wedding and have a second on the way LOL

Haha it makes me giggle when he asks me how did I know, and that's the answer I give him- when you know, you know. Sure, it wasn't the right timing the first time I said it, but eventually everything worked out.

I said other. I don't think there is a too early when it comes to these things, I think it depends on each individual. My SO told me that he was falling for me when we had been on two dates but we had been talking for longer than that and we also went to primary school together. I didn't tell him back until much later; I wanted to be completely sure before I said it and I wanted to know that I meant it completely. No one can tell you how or when to feel, it just happens.

I think he sounds a bit off his rocker. In a text....really?

Well, I started it... I teased him about not falling for me. He texts me back (verbatim): Its too late. Idk if u heard the lady at the bar when we were dancing but she said 'those two are so in love' and i thought it so strange being only the 2nd date.

That's cause it is strange. I'd stay away from topics like that though. At least for a while.
