Then when they are older they can share this magical memories with their children. I think it has to do how you are bringing them up. I dont see how will they be mad for us making them memorable. Kwim. They are innocent and is up to us if we want to keep it that way or have them grow up sooner by telling them what older kids already know. Oh this and that doesnt exist. Why not just let them find out when they get older. Many people doesnt see why the parents did what they did and what they had to do in order to make it special for them. I find it a bit immature and snobby to be mad at the parents like if they lied just to be mean.

I agree with everything you've said. They are only young once and we can't do all these magical things again once they get older.

I don't get the big thing about them being mad, how can you really be/stay mad at something your parents did to make it a special time for you? They should be thanked imo. They just wanted to make it magical
