re: 19 Month Vocabulary

DS went through that too. He would say a word and I would be so proud of it that I would tell everyone, and try to show them. As soon as I told him "Say (insert word)" He would give me a funny look and either say stubbornly silent, or babble... I swore he was just trying to make me look crazy   Dont worry, he will grow out of it.

Hehe. Some kids just take longer than others. but the average speaking age is 18 months, so he's not too far off

LOL! Thanks mama. That's how my son is too. So I would only make him said words that he's been repeating like forever.

Thanks mama. I guess I'll just wait it out till see how he would be when he turns 2.
