Conflicted

I don't have many friends, and most of the ones i do have don't have kids, so my DS doesn't ever see me hanging out with friends.

The last person I introduced him to was my ex (I hadn't known we were going to date at the time or I would have waited longer for them to meet) who is no longer in our lives .

Is it better for DS to meet my friends or not?

(I lean towards not because I have abandonment issues and I feel like I can protect him from that by not having people in and out of his life and I do automatically assume my friends will walk out of our lives which is why I have so few lol.)

I only have 2 good friends here and they've been in my boys lives from day one. As far as guys go, I've been single for 9 months and they just recently met one of my "guy friends" and I didn't feel comfortable with it at all. They are only 2 and 3 years old so too little to explain things to so I'll just stick to how I've been doing it and keeping only very close friends and family around them.
