People always gotta smurf in the cornflakes.

SO since we're not finding out the baby's sex, I figured that I would buy a newborn outfit ( for coming home outfit) in one of each gender, then whatever the baby ends up being I will use that one and return the other one for another outfit for baby.

A few of my friends said it's stupid to buy two outfits and I should just find out and blah blah blah.
How is that stupid?! I mean... seriously. Some people are such party poopers ALL the time.

I don't see how that's stupid at all. It's a good idea, IMO.

I wish I had enough patience to not find out the gender.

If I wouldn't go crazy not finding out, that's how I would do it as well.

Just ignore them lol

I think it's awesome!

I always wanted to be surprised but I always knew what the baby was. So at the 20 weeks ultrasound when the asked, "Do you want to know what it is?"

With the first it was, "Well if you can see it, you can tell me but I already know it's a boy." and it was(although we didn't find out officially until he was born)

And with my 2nd I just said, "I know it's a girl."

And the 3rd I said, "Yeah this time it's a boy."

I was right. So I never got to be surprised.

I think 1 of each outfit is a great idea!

I think it's stupid to think it's stupid. It's not like buying an extra outfit is going to be a financial disaster for you, or be a huge inconvenience.

I think I would be more crazy about it if I cared what gender it was.
I am just thrilled to be pregnant at all and I am going to be excited with either gender.

I think you're awesome for not finding out. I'm not patient enough for that, plus my intuition goes crazy and I want confirmation(haven't been wrong yet LOL).

Check this website out. It has reversible clothes(one side pink, one side blue)...that way you only have to buy one outfit.

Um, I think it's the best idea. Even if you get store credit you can get another outfit or something. Wow I wouldn't be able to wait, nice self control lol. Sounds like you're going about it good. Congrats on on your lil surprise!
