cervical stretch 38 weeks

i went to the doctor today and i am 2cm dilated and 80 percent thinned out. while he was checking me he also did a cervical stretch, kind of like stripping the membranes. He warned me i would probably have some spotting. well ever since then i have been bleeding kind of heavy and passing clots. does this sound normal. anyone else ever have this experience?

I've heard after a membrane sweep you spot, I don't know how much is normal though. Hope everything's alright!

cuz ever since i havn't felt her move either. and i tried calling the doctor but there was 9 ppl in line ahead of my call. I don't have the minutes to wait that long.

How long has it been?? I would say try drinking maybe oj or a big ice cold glass of water or a sugarery drink, and lay on your left side. Try for 10 kicks and if you have gotten 10 kicks in the 2nd hour you should be ok, and if not then i'd get checked! Good luck that is always scary!! You can call your L&D and see what they also suggest!
