if your spouse is older...

By older i mean 10+ years older than you. Do you find that an older spouse is easier to be with than a younger one? Whether the younger one is your age or just a bit younger? My one friend's husband is 42 and she's 30. She says she'd rather be with "an old man any day vs a younger guy". idk, `maybe it's a maturity issue? or because they would be more settled in life?

I'm not sure why I'm posting this, lol. I guess I'm asking if you agree with her comment and for what reason?

I think it completely depends on the person you're with, and not just their age.

You could be with someone 40 years older and they could still be immature.

I have enjoyed dating older men, and enjoyed dating men my own age. I've also hated dating both, and entirely depended on that person, not how hold they were/are.

Well my husband is about 9.5 years older than me, so I am not sure I qualify ;) .. but.. there's a reason he is my husband. Now, I had dated a few slightly older guys.. like 6/7 years before that, but they were still immature. Age isn't always the answer, but it's worked well for me.

My other half is ten years older and wow what a difference..more mature more accepting and understandin...the list goes on and he does night feeds and i let him lay in then hehe

I'm 32 and SO is 40. I don't really care about age, but being with someone who was well established was important to me. I do think that can be easier to find with older men. I work hard, save my money, want good things in life, and want my partner to want and have the same things. He is also super chill, and I know he wasn't like that when he was younger (we have known each other for 18 years).

My hubs is 12 year older than me. I think it works out well as long as the younger person in the relationship has enough life experience to close the gap. Know what I mean?

My first husband was 32 years older. Worst thing ever. I'm happy my husband now is only 2 years older.

Yup as in he was 32 when I was born.

I was married to a man who was 3 years older than me. That didn't end so well. He just seemed so immature. I'm actually with a man now who is 30 years older and he's great. I often forget that he's that much older... We get along so well.

I like dating older guys. When I was 20/21 I dated two guys that were 10 yrs older than me...(they were both really fun and acted my age though)
