Make time to go on a date!! DH and I have to have a date night every few weeks or we would lose our minds, well me more than him because I'm home with DD all the time, but still, it helps! And don't spend the whole time talking about your child.

We actually just went on a date last weekend. But the thing that sucks is we never have a sitter! And not only that, it's more so when we're home just spending time together. I feel more like an old married couple than anything. He does his thing and I do mine. There isn't much "us" time. I don't know, like I said before, it's really hard to explain.

No I understand what you're saying. By the time we finally get our daughter to sleep at night, one or both of us is exhausted or asleep haha. So I feel you on that because we're having the same issues. I wouldn't be so exhausted if DD didn't end up in our bed EVERY single night at some point but that's another topic completely!

Yea exactly. I miss the days when we would lay in bed and talk for hours. Or even lay on the couch and watch a movie together. And it's not because of LO. He will play for hours by himself while we watch a movie. I honestly don't know what it is. I miss the excitement of a new relationship. Not that I want a new one! I want to be with my husband forever. I just want that excitement back.
