re: Christianity rejecting Reincarnation?

And where exactly did you find these FACTS?? Or are you just going by memories from a previous life where you listened to priests preach these "facts"?? And are you saying everyone goes to Heaven? Why dont you name a few sources so I can learn all about these "facts". I do enjoy a good laugh.

Well It hink Christianity is a bunch or rubbish, (well organized religions in general) Reincarnation is no more odd than going to heaven or hell is.

Glad to see you are acting like an adult, very mature.

And did I ever once claim to have had memories from a previous life? No, I surely haven't soplease refrain from acting like achildand open up your brain. There's more to the history of the bible and Christianity than what is simply in the bible. It's crazy but there's writings from that time that had nothing to do with being in the bible O_O crazy right?

There are many sources for this, mainly in the biographies and writings of certain priests from the first 500 years of Christianity, and observers of the priests of that same time period.

Just a few interesting websites. I'm not asking that anyone believe what I believe or even take my word for anything. Study for yourself if you're interested, if not then go on believing what you believe. There's no harm in that. There's some really great books out on the subject, but obviously I'm not going to ask anyone to run out and buy them. (even though they are much better than what you generallyfind online). This is just something I am extremely interested in and find fascinating. I grew up as a Pentecostal Christian until about 2 years ago when I left the church. And like you said, the bible has been changed so many times so who knows what things have been taken out of it.

Actually you did mention remembering when you got to choose your parents before you were born...... How can you be so sure thesewritings are legitimate?
And all monothiestic religions believe in the second life...as in either Heaven or Hell, not on Earth. Believe whatever makes you happy, but to me it all sounds a bit too absurd.

That has nothing to do with my "past lives". lol How can I be sure? Well, let's see, I guess I can't be 100% but then again that means I can't be 100% writings from any period in the past are true. I will believe whatever I so chose, just as everyone else does. And I really don't care what you believe, or what anyone believes for that matter. It doesn't hurt my life one bit.

Can you reference some of these facts? This is not something I've ever looked seriously into.

I haven't done any research other than watching the discovery channel, but supposedly there were books written by women...books that didn't follow what the catholics liked....etc.

THEN books that were just plain lost.

i will look them up tomorrow when i can see straight.

The only things that i hvae found online don't go that far in depth (I listed some websites above). But I've recently been looking more in depth to the "other side" of this debate, so idk. I know that many priests from early Christianity preached about reincarnation, but they are claiming that it had nothing to do with Christianity or the bible, just a few looney tunes preaching their personal beliefs.

Interesting. I'll have to look into it sometime.
