Wiping after the bathroom

DD1 is 6 1/2 years old. She still has a hard time wiping her bum CLEAN after a number two. We've tried practically everything to encourage better hygiene. We've tried discipline, bribing, tried explaining to her on more than one occasion how wiping will prevent a sore bum/vagina but she just doesn't seem to get it. She almost always uses the bathroom at school & I'm under the impression that she's in such a hurry to do her business and hightail it out of there lol. I'm just at my wits end with cleaning badly skid marked panties or having her soak in the tub in tears because her butt is sore. Anybody have ANY ideas?!

Baby wipes?

Have her wipe with baby wipes. It cleans more then use a toilet paper swipe to dry it

I agree with the wipes, I have a hard time using TP on DD's butt after she goes

I agree with baby wipes. My 4 yr old has the same issue but wipes help. Heck..I even use them to wipe my bum (sorry if tmi) lol

My 9 year old brother is in such a hurry when he uses the bathroom sometimes he doesn't even wipe his ass  

I can only get my kids butt's clean when I use wipes. I buy the cottonelle flushable ones! If it seems like the problem is more at school I wouldn't know what to do though.

does she only wipe like that while at school? or at home too?
if its only at school, I would talk to the teachers if its because of potty breaks during class.

I've only ever noticed during the week. We have to give her a bird bath every night :/ I'm gonna pick up some flushable wipes!   I hope this works lol
