pretty proud mama

posted 25th Feb
My little man will be 5 months on the...I could count 28th or the 1st I guess. He was born on Sept. 29th so Feb. is kind of a weird month, anyways. It makes me pretty proud at all that he is doing by himself so far. He's rolling both ways now, hes switching toys from hand to hand, he's picking up toys by himself. He has been sleeping for 12+hours at night for over a month now (thank god) He has started to hold his own bottle for the past week. He's got teeth coming in but he isn't to terribly bad with being fussy. He has his days where I am going to rip my hair out but for the most part he is ok. He sounds like sometimes he does say Hi or momma but im pretty sure its just him babbling away but still. He is also close to getting to really know how to crawl. He kind of has the army crawl down now he just needs to learn what to really do with his arms. Im sorry if it sounded like I was being all my babby is so fantastic blah blah blah. I am just proud of him and I felt like sharing. Im in a good mood today.

What are your LO's doing that just make your heart melt? I want to hear stories

Lucas is doing the same kinda things   although he stopped sleeping through the night, which I'm thoroughly annoyed about. We made it to 4 months EBF and going strong, and I'm SO proud of that. He can roll both ways, he's started getting excited when he sees me or his dad when he wakes up, and getting excited when you hand him a toy.. I can hold a toy out and he reaches out for it and grabs it, he's in his jolly jumper now and he's learning to jump.. He's teething, I'm hoping that doesn't last too long, I think that's why he's waking up at night again   Only once or twice, but still. He manages to propel himself along the ground with his feet somehow, I'll put him down and he'll roll onto his tummy and end up ages away from where he started, or manages to wriggle himself in a half circle so he's facing the opposite way from when he started. He's giggling and grinning all the time, drooling everywhere, giving me cuddles, and he's in his cot now   Still in the same room as us though.
As you can tell, I'm nauseatingly proud of my lil guy as well
