7mnth sick and flu shot

Well today is when my daughter is suppose to go back for her second dose of the flu shot. But today when she Woke up her head was really hot and she keeps crying so I'm assuming she's got a fever r something I think bc she's teething, her 2nd teeth is coming in.. But I'm wondering if she should still get the 2nd dose? Bc she's sick??? N I kinda don't even want her to get it. Plz help and my daughter is 8mntgs next wk

I wouldn't get my kid a shot if she has a fever already. The flu shot does nothing anyway

You're not supposed to give vaccines when they are sick.

I would call and notify her doctor, they will decide.

They may assume it is her teeth, but chances are they will ask you a temperature so probably take that.

I didn't get any of my kids the flu shot. My son did wind up with the flu anyway, but it lasted about 4 days and on day 5 he was fever free. I probably wouldn't bother getting the second dose of the flu shot. My aunt is a nurse and doesn't think the flu shot is a good idea for anyone under 18, and is iffy on people over 18.

all and ask the doctor? The only reason I get Audrianna the flu shot is because it can really reduce the symptoms of the flu if she gets flu. It is only like 60% effective in preventing the flu
