Hes coming

I'm getting induced tonight (due to medical reasons). Totally bummed I did not go into labor naturally because I know getting induced is tougher on the body and was more painful than when I went into labor naturally. Husband also wont be present for the birth...=( Hes 8 hours away and wont be able to see us for over a week, possibly not till mid March depending on his schedule. I feel absolutely heart broken and I'm petrified of doing this without him but he will be there via Skype which is better than nothing.

I have been contracting all morning, hopefully Ill still go into labor on my own. Wish me luck please <3

Prayers for you sweetie! I had to be induced with DS last month. I was so upset because I wanted to go naturally as well. However, all they had to do was break my water to get things going. I was 31/2 cm and 90% effaced when I went in. They gave me the option of breaking water first, pitocin or both. I ended up not needed pitocin at all. Maybe you could have that option to start with? It would make it less painful and more natural. Good luck sweetie!!! <3

I was 2 cm and 80% effaced at my last app, hopefully I have further dilated since and they will break my water. I would really prefer to go without Pitocin or any other medication.
And congrats on your newest little one. =D

My very first labor was an induction and that was horrible. With my 2nd I went into labor naturally. Woke at 6 or so in the morning in labor than had her at 4 that afternoon, pushed for 30 min. I think it went really well, Im hoping this labor is even better. ;) lol

AWW good luck sorry to hear you won't be able to naturally if you don't go by the time of the induction. I hope your labor goes smoothly!!
