That's my plan if he tries to bring it up again.
I didn't even know when it was done or anything (like at the hospital at birth or after) so talked to the doc about it this past week, she gave me a pack of info that had like- photos of the thing they strap them to 'n everything- and it was just- sad

Guys are weird, but not that weird.  

I know more people that aren't circumcising than are anyways. What are they going to do? Make fun of their own junk

He needs a male friend to talk to that did not get their son circ'ed. That may help. If you have any friends that fit the bill, I'd ask them to talk tohim.

He's 9 years older than me and all his friends are waaaaay older than him with kids my age (he works with retired navy people) and i only have one mama friend, her son isn't circ'd, but the dad isn't his friend haha

Did you bring up the fact his brother isn't cir'd? I just don't think it would be good if they weren't the same. If anything, I want to feel like I have something in common with family.

Regardless, he just needs to get comfortable with the fact that his baby not going to get it done. Sorry it's been hard on you

Your SO sounds like my mom. Luckily my DH is against circumcision as well but my mom gave me so much smurf about it. I told her the percentages of non-circ'ed kids is rising in the US, that kids in Europe don't do it and their penises aren't grosser and on that note, do 6th graders really stand around looking at each other's junk during gym class anyway? She was like okay, whatever, I get it lol.

Worst case scenario, yell it out during labor while you're gripping his arm lol.

My husband and I both agreed that we wouldn't do anything that was unnecessary to our kids until they were old enough to make the decision on their own

i even feel like hearing all the info from a male doc would help.
the info my doc printed for me with the "cons" of not circ'ing even posted about that it has more to do with future sexual activity and hygiene vs just not being circ'd or not. but god knows he'd disregard that and just be like, "SEE! there's cons!!!"

I think if I were a kid I'd feel more weird not matching my brother than my father.

i had my first at 16, and my mom is actually the one who informed me on all of it and helped me make my decision- that would totally be annoying though if she was giving you a hard time for it! thank god she's grandma and doesn't have a say at least
