Around 8 months. But hes hated meat all his life lol. Sometimes I can get away with hiding it, but for the most part he's a vegetarian.

He was around 13 months until he had any meats.
I tried them earlier on, pureed, and he did not like the texture at all.

I've never given the baby jar of meats but my 8 month old has had different types of fish already. I think that's the only type I've given so far.

Like real meat or baby food meat? Dd started solids at 6 months. So she didn't get around to trying meat baby food till 9 months. She just tried the baby mini hotdog looking things yesterday. She'll be 1 in 2 weeks.

We started around 6 months, store bought baby food. I haven't done the meat in broth that you can buy out of the store because it looks disgusting but we've done the meats mixed with veggies. My son likes them.

The baby food. Hes been eating solids for a lil over 2 months, he basically just gets fruits and vegetables and he gets yogurt bites and arrow root cookies occasionally for a snack. Hes a healthy weight somewhere between 18 and 20 lbs (ill find out exactly tomorrow) his last appointment he was 18.2 that was the 11th of this month and hes 27 inches tall. Would it be okay to try turkey or chicken? I really wanna stay away from beef. He also drinks anywhere from 34 to 42 ounces of formula in a day (a full 24 hrs)

DS is 9 1/2 mo and still hasn't had any solid food. Waiting until the year mark to start introducing all that. But I think you can start meats with most everything else at 6mo.

If he's able to pick up the arrow root cookies by himself and everything I would give him the baby food meat. The only reason Dd waited so long is because she gave it up and decided she hated solids at 7 months and wet back to being exclusively breast fed.

We do baby led weaning, so DS eats everything we eat, including meat. We just made sure it was cooked really soft so he could gum it (he has teeth now so not so much of an issue) and he was fine with it. We started at 6months btw
