hooray for school!

posted 25th Feb
I feel awful for thinking it but OMG I am beyond happy Maxwell is feeling well enough to go back to school today. He was off ALL week last week and when he doesn't go to school.... you can see a big difference in his attitude.

I know he has been cooped up being sick and all but it will be a nice break today and the rest of this week. He is always so much happier when he goes to school and comes home.

You are not terrible! I feel the same way. It is so hard for my kids to occupy themselves when they are home because we have a two bedroom 1 bath 1989 trailer. There is hardly any room for them to play. Especially when it's too windy or whatever for playing outside. I LOVE school.

It's been smurffy outside, just cold and nasty. WONDERFUL Michigan winter   So there isn't much to do outside and I know he gets worn out from going to school and messing around there. He is a completely different kid if he does not get his "wear out" time. I cried in my pillow a few times last week because of how he was lol

I feel the same way about my oldest daughter. She is a tyrant at home but such a sweetheart at school. She is usually so much better behaved when she comes home from school during the week. I actually dread the weekends sometimes, knowing that I am going to have to deal with her fits.
If it makes you feel any better, Arizona weather has been really crappy as well lately. It has been in the 40's which is really cold for here. We are supposed to go into the upper 70's later this week hopefully. I am sorry you still have to deal with Michigan's bipolar weather lol

I have been there too. Yestrday it was windy too but nothing like today. We're dealing with 50 mile an hour winds and it's only about 33 degrees outside. Plus mix in a little snow. It's a mess out there.
