Raising Voice

In your home do you scream/yell etc. at your SO/DH/BD or kids?
DH says LO doesn't take my stern voice seriously lol

We don't raise our voices unless DD is doing something like drawing on the wall, playing in poop or doesn't respond the first time and it's usually just to get her attention "NAME! No Ma'am!" "We don't do that!"

DH and I don't raise our voices with each other, but we don't get into squabbles often, either.

Why would not yelling be lazy?

Takes a lot more effort to resolve things like a reasonable, intelligent person than to just screech.

I don't raise my voice, and I am far from a lazy parent.

I have a stern voice but if they are not listening and keep doing something they are not supposed to I yell their first and middle names and they go into a panic and quickly stop whatever they were doing lol

DH gets yelled at once in a great while, not really yelling but sometimes I do get loud.

I rarely raise my voice at my kids, only when something dangerous is about to happen. I never yell at my husband.

I meant as in they are too lazy to care not as in you resolve it a different way.

I try not to scream and yell. My mom always screamed at us as kids and I hated it. I don't want my kids raised like that. I do have a very stern voice but don't scream at them.

That's what I thought, lol. Screaming seems like the lazier thing to do.

I try not to yell, but I do sometimes. Most of the time is because if I'm on the phone and the kids are being loud, I have to get their attention to tell them to quiet down. Like "Hush up!!" Lol. Other than when I need to hear somebody, I'm pretty good at not needing to yell.

I just love how things are labeled lazy simply based on the OP's opinion

Lazy parent this, lazy parent that

Some people overcompensate

I worded it wrong I meant as in they are too lazy to care so they don't yell.
