Yes, I'd rather my brothers live here. Lol
My in laws hate me, my mom pesters me and my aunt is cool, but only talks to me when she feels like it, which is never. Lol

DH's family is a little over an hour away. Most of my family is 45min and my sister is in Hawaii.

I grew up in a military family so we moved around all over the place. When I was in my 20's, my parents were either on the other side of the country or overseas. So when it was time for all of us to "settle," we mostly came to one area. My brother lives a mile away and my parents are 5-10 minutes away. I have another brother who lives in a different state, but that's where his wife grew up, and they're in pretty much the same neighborhood as her parents.

I live one mile away from my parents. I lived 2500 miles away for 3 years and hated it. I won't ever move more than a few miles away again.

ETA: DH has no family other than mine and works out of town the majority of the time so my family is my lifeline!

My FIL is about 12 hours away, my MIL and Step-FIL are about 10 hours away (driving that is), and my dad is on the other side of the country. I hate being so far away from everyone 

I live about 5-20 Minutes from my parents and grandparents, my parent's siblings and there children and my 2nd cousin. My boyfriends parents are in the next province over as well as 3 of his four sibilings and there significant others and children. The other is in the southern states.

My mom lives 5 minutes away. My dad recently moved to Cali last year. My cousins etc all live no more than 15 minutes away. My grandparents live 20 minutes away. My other grandparents live 3 minutes away. And all these timings are by walking. Oh and DHs side, his parents live 4 minutes away. His sister lives 5 minutes away. His other sister lives 10 minutes away. His grandparents are in another country.
