Ways to stay asleep?

posted 25th Feb
I don't know why my body won't let me have these last few days of sleeping in but I keep waking up and it's quite agitating especially when I am only asleep for 3 to 4 hours at most, and then I can't go back to sleep. What do you do to help yourself sleep? I am just wanting to make sure my body is rested for when I go into labor and that way I won't be exhausted to badly. I guess it's just preparing for LO

How long does it usually keep you asleep? And it's not dangerous to take just for sleep right??

You are not supposed to take PM products while pregnant. I would just call your OB and ask if there is anything you can take.

I may be having him Wednesday if that's the induction day he chooses, so I guess I will just take a Benadryl or something that the doctor says is ok the night before my apt and try to rest as much as I can.

most pm products are diphenhydramine, which is benedryl, and thats totally safe while pregnant and breastfeeding..

I am just going off of what my OB told me and PM products were not on his approved list. I say better safe than sorry, but that is just me.

With my first preg I took Tylenol pm by drs orders. With my second I only took sleep aid the last night of my preg cause my nurse wanted me well rested. They gave me ambien. I guess it's pretty common where I was hospitalized cause they asked me almost every night if I needed one.
